How do we find that place of comfort and total contentment?
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
We start by trusting. Trusting first and foremost in the only one who keeps His promises and loves us more than we could ever love Him, Jesus!
“Trust in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:4
Peace is a promise God gives us if we keep our minds focused on Him and trust in Him at all times! Many times I have to remind myself of that very thing too. Studying the bible helps clarify the ambiguous calamity of everyday life. Then, spending time in my art & creation moments calms my mind when I lose that focus, which eventually brings that trust back!
I was inspired to create this lovely bible journaling page with the thought of a pensive lady reflecting on her life, her journey, and her walk with the Lord. She was created with a Micron black pen, Prismacolor pencils, Gelatos for the background, and a Dymo label maker for the words all in my Illustrating Bible by DaySpring and Illustrated Faith.

Ok, finding peace in today’s world is NOT an easy task. I am going on that journey this summer in particular to find that perfect place for me….finding it will not be easy but if you keep writing on finding that “perfect” place maybe I’ll get there too!
I’m in total agreement Pamela! At times, I feel, it’s so much easier to go with the flow to avoid tough situations but are you truly happy or in peace when that happens? That’s when I seek some accountability on my path of people I trust and then ask for prayer for my situation! I wish you the best on your journey!
